Kari Lefort

Chief Executive Officer

Lefort

When Kari was in her teens, her family home served as a refuge for women facing crisis pregnancies, which had a huge impact in her life. That influence would steer her to pursue a career in helping others.

Kari wants to continue a life of service- of helping others- just as her family did in the formative years.

“Making a difference, effecting change and giving people the help they need will always be my passion. It’s in my blood- and it’s what gives me joy.” This is an excerpt from eBella magazine’s story featuring Kari.

Kari moved from Massachusetts to Southwest Florida in 2014 to escape the cold winters. She has worked with non-profit organizations for over 20 years and is passionate about advocating for and supporting vulnerable populations. Kari has been in management positions with non-profit organizations including the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, Horizons for Homeless Children, Advocates Inc., and Catholic Charities. Kari received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Evangel University in Missouri and a master’s degree in social work from Florida State University.  She also holds an Executive Leadership Program for Non-Profit Organizations certificate from the University of Georgia.
