Two routes that can stretch a gift further than cash. Both need the same details from us - they're on the right.
From a donor-advised fund
If you have a donor-advised fund, you can recommend a grant to Collier Resource Center through your sponsor. Your grant helps neighbors navigate critical needs and community resources - information and referral that points people to the right agency, case management and advocacy, warm connections to trusted providers, and ongoing follow-up.
From your IRA 70½ or older
A qualified charitable distribution goes straight from your IRA to CRC. It counts toward your required minimum distribution and stays out of your taxable income - which can be worth more than a deduction if you take the standard deduction. In 2026 you can give up to $111,000 per person (a couple giving from separate IRAs, up to $222,000); the cap is adjusted each year. Your custodian must send the funds directly to CRC - if you withdraw the money first, it counts as income and the benefit is lost. Talk with your advisor, then call us.

- Matching gifts - many employers match the charitable gifts of employees and retirees, multiplying your support.
- Gifts of securities - donating appreciated securities held over a year can carry significant tax advantages. Call us to arrange.
- Tribute gifts - give in memory or honor of a loved one; we'll notify the family without disclosing the amount.
- Planned gifts - name CRC as a beneficiary in your will, retirement plan, or insurance policy. Please speak with your advisor about what fits your situation.
