Collier Resource Center exists to help families and adults obtain emergency assistance and ongoing support. There are many agencies across Collier County that provide help - but figuring out who does what, while managing phone calls, referrals, and appointments during a crisis, is more than most people can manage.
We do the legwork and connect you to the agencies that can help. Our trained volunteers and staff have the knowledge and connections to match you with more sources than you knew existed. And we follow up - tracking your progress and managing your connections as your situation changes, until the need is met.
Referrals across every kind of need
Fundamental necessities
Food, clothing, shelter, rental assistance, utility assistance, and more for families in need.
Medical & mental health
Health insurance programs, Medicaid/Medicare, maternal and infant health, support groups, counseling, and rehabilitation.
Employment
Financial assistance, job-training programs, transportation, and educational programs.
Disability services
Adaptive equipment, adult day training, life planning, group homes, respite care, supported employment and living, and transportation.
Senior services
Adult day care, congregate meals, Meals on Wheels, respite care, homemaker services, and independent-living programs.
Children, youth & families
Childcare, after-school and Head Start programs, summer camps, and mentoring.
Beyond referrals - some direct help, too
With the support of grants and donors, we've begun to deliver some help directly, especially to our most vulnerable clients.
Senior Wellness Checks
A grant-funded program (Women's Foundation of Collier County) helping older adults stay housed, access benefits, and reduce isolation - 32 senior women served in 2025.
Meals for seniors
Delivering meals to homebound older clients - a warm hand-off, and a check on how they're doing.
Everyday essentials
Direct help with basics like diapers, filling gaps that no other program covers.
