The heart of how we work

Our volunteer team of extraordinary men and women:

  • Provide client case management and advocacy
  • Meet with school, church, and synagogue leaders to let them know how we can help
  • Meet and interact regularly with local nonprofits
  • Serve on community task forces and advisory committees
  • Represent us at health and human service gatherings
  • Provide outreach to underserved communities
  • Donate thousands of hours of their valuable time
Our partners

We don't do this alone

Since we began, Healthcare Network has donated our space and utilities - the largest local provider of outpatient integrated medical, dental, and behavioral health services, seeing 50,000+ patients a year.

Our case manager works out of the Hunger & Homeless Coalition of Collier County two days a week, using the HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) database for coordinated entry - efficiently matching people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to available housing, shelter, and services.

The barriers our clients face

Why one call matters

The clients who come to us are often up against more than one obstacle at once:

  • Limited or no access to a computer or smartphone
  • Limited computer skills
  • Language challenges
  • Visual impairment
  • Unreliable transportation, or no way to afford gas to visit agency after agency
  • Fear, embarrassment, and more

One call to Collier Resource Center connects them to the right help.

What kinds of problems can you help with?
We connect you to help with food, housing, utilities, healthcare, employment, disability and senior services, childcare, and more. See What We Do.
