On July 8, 2026, Ashley Jones, Executive Director of Collier Resource Center, and Carolina Heiser, Director of Senior Services & Community Partnerships, had the opportunity to present at the Immokalee InterAgency meeting on July 8th.
Ashley shared an overview of CRC’s mission, services, and growing community impact, including how the organization provides no-cost information, referrals, advocacy, and case management to help individuals and families connect with essential resources. She also emphasized the value of coordinated partnerships among nonprofit organizations, government agencies, healthcare providers, faith communities, and other local partners serving Immokalee residents.
Ashley also highlighted CRC’s team of dedicated volunteers, whose compassion, time, and commitment help expand the organization’s reach and ensure more neighbors receive personalized support. She also shared information about Cocktails for a Cause, CRC’s signature fundraising event, and how community support helps sustain and strengthen the organization’s work.
Carolina focused on CRC’s work with older adults, including the unique challenges facing seniors and women experiencing or at risk of homelessness. She highlighted the Senior Homeless Women initiative, senior wellness support, housing navigation, food delivery services, and the importance of strong community partnerships.
Collier Resource Center is grateful for the opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange information, and identify new ways to improve access to services for individuals and families throughout the Immokalee community.
By working together, we can reduce barriers, improve coordination, and help more neighbors receive the right support at the right time.
