Chief Stephanie Spell

Chief Stephanie Spell heads the Community Engagement Department within the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.  As a member of Sheriff Kevin Rambosk’s executive command staff, she provides leadership for several law enforcement bureaus, including Public Information and Media Relations, Crime Prevention, Crime Analysis, Planning and Research, Victim Advocate, Senior Services, Minority Affairs and Volunteers.

Chief Spell has been with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office since 1987. Chief Spell earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety Management and a Master’s Degree in Administration.  Chief Spell is an adjunct professor at Barry University and currently serves on the board of directors of the United Way of Collier County, Leadership Collier Foundation, as chairperson of the board of directors of Collier Child Care Resources, Inc. and as vice-president of the board of directors of Youth Haven.

Chief Spell recently graduated from the FBI National Academy’s Florida Executive Development Seminar.  Chief Spell was also named as one of the 2013 Women of Power by Florida Weekly.
