Client Intake and Support

Client Intake and Support

Supervisor: Office Manager or Volunteer Coordinator.

Duties include processing new and returning clients, providing information, referring clients to appropriate organizations and following up with clients after the referral.  Client support volunteers must complete an additional training class.
Community Outreach

Supervisor: Office Manager and/or Community Outreach Coordinator

Duties include representing the Collier Resource Center (CRC) through the speaker’s bureau, attending information fairs and inter-agency meetings.  Volunteer must have basic knowledge of CRC operations and procedures.
Computer Work/Data Entry

Supervisor: Office Manager

Duties include adding information to the databases, creating labels, producing reports.  Duties may also include website updates.  Volunteer needs basic knowledge of databases.
General Office Work

Duties include answering phones, greeting and welcoming clients and visitors, registering clients and other related office tasks.  Duties may also include assisting with mailings, website updates, bookkeeping and/or historian tasks.  Volunteer must have knowledge of CRC operations and procedures, and maintain complete adherence to confidentiality policies.
Grant Researcher/Writer

Duties include but are not limited to assisting with grant research and/or grant writing.
Special Events/Fundraising

Duties include assisting with special events.
Interpreter/Translator

Interpreter/Translator

Supervisor: Office Manager

Duties include interpreting and translating for non-English speaking clients.  Volunteer needs to be fluent in English and secondary language(s), have the ability to convey information accurately and precisely and keep detailed records of client interaction.  Volunteer must be willing to work with diverse populations with complete adherence to confidentiality policies. (Definition: Interpreters work with the spoken word and translators work with the written word.)
